Mining My Ántonia (2012)—a project which packaged together a large map, five etchings and an artist book— was designed by Barbara Tetenbaum and co-published by Triangular Press and the Hartford Art School Print Workshop, West Hartford, Connecticut. It was made in conjunction with the Georgette and Richard Koopman Distinguished Chair in the Visual Arts Program at the Hartford Art School/University of Hartford. The etchings and map were drawn at the Hartford Print Workshop and printed in New York City by Kathy Kuehn. All other work was completed at Triangular Press in Portland, Oregon. Excerpts from Willa Cather’s novel were hand-set from foundry type and printed letterpress onto Zerkall papers in an edition of 30 copies. Melanie Brauner assisted with the final assembly.
